An Expansive, Multi-Faceted French Marketplace
All self-respecting Francophiles should be privy to Le District: a high-end marketplace to dine, date and grocery shop like a Parisian—just steps from The New York Stock Exchange, World Trade Center and luxury shopping at Brookfield Place. The space itself is comprised of four bustling areas: the Cafe, Market, Garden and Restaurant Districts.
Each area has its own draws: pick and choose from local produce and epicurean delicacies in the Garden District, do date night at one of four spots in the Restaurant District, hit up the boulangerie and/or boucherie in the Market District and try a coffee and French pastry in the Cafe District.

Crown Creative has managed all brand development for Le District since 2016.
We expanded on existing, simple brand guidelines by working closely with internal marketing teams and external PR firm to truly grasp Le District’s concept and culture.
By adding colors, textures, illustrations and supporting typefaces, we really fleshed out and enhanced Le District’s identity. We continued to develop and grow the brand to match the growth of the company, as each new district grew, so did the branding in a consistent way ensuring a luxury feel to match the location and clientele.
We developed and implemented a consistent, strong photography style that worked across both digital and print, but also for the huge variety of products and services on offer.
We continue to manage all physical branding collateral - from designing signage, menus, coasters and postcards to shopping bags, coffee cups and tote bags.
Our team were tasked with building out Le District’s digital presence: from designing and developing a custom, fully-responsive website to creating initial digital and social media strategies including digital advertising, influencer strategy and email marketing.
Our involvement has resulted in considerable growth in organic website traffic and online sales through new e-commerce models. Likewise, on social media, the brand has experienced significant growth in followers and engagement.
We continue to innovate new strategies to further the success of the Le District brand.
Content Creation & Art Direction
We implemented a very clear and concise strategy for content creation and photography.
Studying trends and analysing competitors, we sought out different ways Le District could develop a definitive style - from art direction and placement tocolours and surfaces used on shoots.
Due to the multitude of products and the ranges of services, our content has to be reactive and ever-evolving with new developments like new stations, products, campaigns and seasons.
We create content on a monthly basis - both day-to-day content and season- and campaign-specific content.
It’s fun, it’s aesthetically pleasing, it marries what’s currently trending with Le District’s needs.
